How a retainer works
Each retainer bills monthly and renews until you stop it. No annual contract and no minimum term beyond the first month. Pause or stop with a message before the next cycle; work in progress finishes inside the month already paid.
The month-to-month retainers pause with a message before the next cycle, and a paused month is not billed; Care Plan, Cadence, the Lab and the Partner plans say so on their page. An embedded engagement like the Fractional CPO sets its pause terms in the written agreement from week one.
Seven of the ten retainers write it on their page: if it is wrong, we fix it inside the fee. The two Partner plans add a first-week refund: leave inside seven days and 75 percent of the month comes back. The SEO retainer follows the audit that precedes it and is scoped from that roadmap.
