Into
the cold.
A cold-plunge tracker that treats the habit like a Norse saga.
Product strategy, UX/UI design, and full SwiftUI development — shipped from zero to App Store by SUUR.

Habit apps bribe you with confetti. TrackCold swears you to an oath — every session either strengthens it or breaks it.

The idea
A quest is an oath.
Instead of badges, TrackCold has a Saga: multi-day quests named after runes — Awakening, a week of daily sessions growing from one minute to two; Isa's Stillness; Contrast Path. Progress is written in earned runes, and missing a day doesn't pause the quest — it breaks the oath.
Intent, pressure, story. The mythology isn't a skin — it's the retention mechanic.
The experience
Calm surface. Cold discipline.

01
Rituals, not routines
Presets with names that set the tone — Frostbite, a straight three-minute plunge; Ginnungagap, four alternating rounds of ice and heat. Each ritual shows its cold and warm phases as colored rounds, and a custom builder composes any sequence.

02
A timer that respects the moment
In 39-degree water nobody wants a busy screen. The active session is one ring, one number, and the phase you're in — with pause and skip reachable by a numb thumb. A Live Activity mirrors it on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.

03
Your heart tells the truth
HealthKit streams heart rate through every session, and the app charts the drop — the calm arriving in real time. Heart-rate recovery is tracked per session and as a personal record, so adaptation is a number, not a feeling.

04
The Oath Ledger
Longest cold, best oath, coldest water, deepest heart-rate recovery, most rounds — records kept like a ledger of kept promises, with session breakdowns and timing charts underneath.
At the water's edge
The phone stays on dry land.
A watchOS companion runs sessions from the wrist, Live Activities keep the countdown on the Lock Screen, home-screen widgets show the streak, and every finished session logs to Apple Health — then turns into a share card for the group chat that dared you.
Built with intention
100% SwiftUI on both platforms, strict concurrency throughout.
The result
Concept to App Store, in-house.
Product strategy, a complete Norse-flavored design language (fjord blues, ember golds, rune iconography), and the full native build — iPhone, Apple Watch, widgets, Live Activities, and a StoreKit 2 subscription business — all shipped by SUUR.
“Retention isn't a badge system. It's a story the user doesn't want to break.”
Building an app that needs a soul, not a skin?
SUUR designs and ships native mobile products end to end — strategy, UX/UI, and the code.
